Joint TU demo is organised for Wednesday 23rd  September 2026 at 9am at 32 Albion Street.

The Health and Social Care Partnership Integrated Joint Board meeting will take place on this week on 23 September 2026.

GMB along with sister trade unions Unison and Unite have been campaigning against the proposed cuts to vital services. HSCP board will meet to vote on proposed cuts to Welfare Rights Services and also cuts to Day care centres.

Joint trade unions call on our members to stand together against the proposed cuts.

These proposals will impact on many Glasgow residents, and this also includes our members who work in the services or who have family members in need of these vital services for support and advice.

Trade unions have jointly  written to elected members to highlight the consequences if these proposals are voted through by HSCP board members.
